So this is it. My blog. My space. My one little portion of the world to manipulate as I will and fill with things that are awesome. And these things are: Books. Art. Chocolate. Disney movies. Not necessarily in that order.
Before I become your favorite blogger in the universe, I find it necessary to establish what's gonna be going down here. First, of course, there will be book reviews. If you are one of those cool kids who reads in class (and you know who you are) you will get lots of good recommendations. Maybe there will even be some movie reviews, though it's much harder to watch movies in class without getting caught, and for mostly that reason I discourage it as your main form of entertainment. Next, there will be pictures of amusing things. Also amusing anecdotes, and perhaps even the occasional short story authored by me. I solemnly promise to avoid fanfiction like the plague. The rest I leave to your imagination, or rather mine.
Welcome to my Narnia.

A few of my favorite websites...
www.deviantart.com
An artist's paradise www.grooveshark.com Free online music www.xkcd.com An ingenious "webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language." Be aware that some of the strips are less than appropriate, though most are hilarious and very well done. Perhaps I'll post a few of my favorites later on. http://www.readbookonline.net/stories/Henry/108/ Stories by William Sydney Porter, a famous American writer and my favorite author of short stories. Which are conveniently out of copyright and available online. Yeah! Actually if you go to the home page there are a lot more books available...I just haven't perused it much. http://dan-ball.jp/en/javagame/dust/ The powder game. Fun with elements! Everyone should waste at least a few hours of their lives playing this, preferably with a few friends. Note: None of the pictures I use on this site belong to me unless otherwise stated. (Some that do belong to me are the Paint drawings, the cat pictures, the bluegill and one of the fractals.) None of the characters, books, movies, etc. mentioned belong to me either, unless otherwise stated. All the writing is original and belongs to me, unless otherwise stated or clearly quoted. Writing may not be used without my permission.

If you're a reader or writer, you may also want to check out sheamegale.weebly.com. The website of a talented writer and dear friend of mine with whom I have whiled away many a pleasant afternoon debating social issues from opposite ends of the country. If you meet her now, she may remember you when she's famous.
